Evie Black Dykema, Principal

Evie Dykema developed strong core consulting skills through early engagements with McKinsey & Company and case team leader roles at Corporate Decisions, Inc. (“CDI”) and Mercer Management Consulting. While serving as a senior analyst at Forrester Research, Evie further honed her executive-level advisory skills, broadened her professional network, and won the coveted Best Research Award (first place, 2001). In her role as Principal at NAVSTAR Advisors, she takes responsibility for the success of every client engagement. Academic credentials include Duke University (magna cum laude, Mensa scholarship recipient) and the Kellogg School of Management (MBA).

Daniel Aronson, Senior Advisor
Daniel Aronson has ten years of consulting experience -- including roles as an associate, senior manager, and managing director. While managing cases for the U.S. National Strategy Team within Anderson's consulting practice, Daniel was identified as a "global luminary" for his contributions in several key areas. Daniel received his BA from UC Berkeley (high honors) and his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, majoring in Strategy. He has served as an instructor for critical thinking skills classes at UC Berkeley, authored content used in several university-level courses, and conducted research for MIT's System Dynamics Group. 

Cheryl J. Alpert, Senior Advisor
Cheryl has a 25-year track record of experience in strategy development, marketing, and business development roles at a range of firms, including The Cambridge Research Institute, Hill & Knowlton, and the Data Broadcasting Corporation. While serving as President of CAJ Communications, she supervised a staff of 25 and directed creative and strategic local and national marketing campaigns on behalf of her clients. She is the proud recipient of the Hatch, NEDMA, and Bellringer awards for excellence in advertising, direct marketing, and PR (respectively) . Cheryl received her undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University (cum laude) and went on to study at Boston University and the Harvard Business School.

Kevin Williams, Senior Advisor
Prior to joining the NAVSTAR Advisors team, Kevin Williams was employed by the Harvard Business School, Morgan Stanley’s equity research group, and Copernicus (a marketing investment strategy group). Kevin is a graduate of Harvard University, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa John Harvard Scholar and concentrated on statistical analysis and psychology. When completing graduate work as a Harvard Graduate Prize Fellow, Kevin focused on techniques for improving the relevance and applicability of statistical analysis (e.g.¸ advanced behavioral decision making, advanced research methods, applied statistics). Kevin is currently a Level III Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
